Online B Wrap up/ Reflection

I think technology is very important to everyday life, it is important because it can help us with everyday things. Technology has changed a lot of the last 5 years, new websites, new phones, more phone users, and much higher advances. I think technology will continue to change and there will be many new changes in 5 years.

                In school I use technology. Some of the technologies I use are calculators, computers, and projectors. I also use technology for personal use some of the things I use for personal use include cell phone, IPod, and computers.

                I think I will use some of the tools from Online be in the future like the digital portfolio for many jobs, and excel if I need to make a spreadsheet for other classes or plan  on making a contact list. I think excel is most practical for lifelong learning because there are many jobs that you need to make spreadsheets, and you can also use excel to make a contact list. The tools I think I will never use again are Digital Storytelling, Career Exploration, Advanced Internet Searching, and screen casting. The tool that was my favorite to create was Online Apps; I like Microsoft live it was cool that I can use Microsoft at home for free. The tool that was my least favorite to create was Digital storytelling, I personally do not like to talk into microphones and hear myself in projects.

how to make a Google Doc

To make this screencast i used the website www,screenr.com, I liked using screencast-o-matic better, i was easier to use than screenr. If i would ever make another screencast i would definitely use screencast-o-matic!

Screencast

A screencast is a video of your computer screen teaching someone how to do something on the computer. I don't like creating them because i don't like to talk into the microphone. This can be helpful to me when i don't know how to do something on the computer i can just search it and watch a video that someone is showing me how to do it. It will be most helpful to older people who don't know how to use the computer as well as the teenagers know how to.

Windows Live vs. Google Docs

Windows Live has a lot more options compared to Google Docs, I personally like Windows Live better because I am used to using Microsoft Software.

This article is about how the Iphone 5 will have a 4" screen instead of a 3.5" screen. They say that the smaller size battery dies faster, but with the 4" screen they have more room for a larger battery, they have the Iphone has small as they can get it for how much stuff is inside.

My Cluster

My cluster is Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security. Jobs that fall under this cluster are conservation warden, correctional officer, deputy sheriff, investigators, juvenile detention worker, law enforcement officer, park ranger, private security officer, revenue agent, and special agent. Attributions you will need for these jobs are efficiency, problem solver,and  leadership skills. In my opinion I do not think this cluster fits me.

Review

        Goggle Docs is like Microsoft Office they have one like word and power point! You can open Google Docs anywhere as long as you have internet access, they are very handy!
        Wiki's are an online website that anyone can edit as long as they are a member of that website.Wikipedia is an example of a wiki.
        Assisitive technology is technology used by individuals with disabilities in order to perform functions that might be otherwise difficult or impossible. 
        Electronic portfolio is a online portfolio of yourself and your work. You can access it anywhere as long as you have internet access.

Project Wrap-Up Assignment

I like Google docs because i can access it at home, and my partner and i were able to work on the same project at the same time! I really don't have any dislikes about Google docs. Yes i do like being able to work on the same document at the same time my partner is  because i can always be doing something instead of waiting till my partners done so i can start working on it, very convenient! I think Google can improve their Google docs by adding more features to it. Overall i think my project turned out good!
